Valaire

Sunday 1 September — 9h00 PM

Known as Misteur Valaire for about ten years, the band thought it was time to simplify things, starting with their name. They decided to scrap the “Misteur” that had become superfluous. Most of their fans were already calling them “VALAIRE”, so they made it official. They also allied themselves to Indica Records’ team, 10 years after managing everything themselves. It is now time for VALAIRE to focus on what they do best: music!

Oobopopop (2016) followed Bellevue (2013), Golden Bombay (2010), Friterday Night (2007) et Mr. Brian (2005). For this 5th album, the band escaped from the harshness of winter and flew to a warm, sunny place. VALAIRE settled in Louisiana – the kingdom of funk, jazz and basically all groovy music types. VALAIRE presents a rhythmic and dancing album, featuring a mix of funk and soul supported by their own forever-effective touch. The result – ideal for the most festive nights – highlights brass instruments, synthesizers and drums.
